Residency

Residency is available to artists through an application and selection process. Resident artists receive a private studio for a period of a year that is subsidized at below market cost. Residency renewal is possible after one year through a reapplication process.

Description

Studios sizes vary and cost is calculated with respect to additional amenities such as natural light and running water.

Eligibility

Visual artists working in all forms of media are eligible. The program is designed for artists with a developed studio practice and career. LAS does not discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation or marital status. Artists must be citizens of the United States, or must be legal US residents during their tenure.

Currently we do not have any open studios, however you an apply to enter a wait-list to be

notified when a studio becomes available.

 

 

Residency is designed to enhance your studio practice by providing opportunities to engage with supportive creative community, you are welcome to participate and make proposals.
