David Olivera

David E. Olivera (Born. 1983), is an artist based in Miami, Florida. For three decades David has devoted his time and energy to creating and developing his artistic potential. Building a career as an art conservator that specializes in the preservation and restoration of contemporary works, historical architecture, and cultural heritage, Olivera navigates numerous verticals of the art world. He has founded various community projects in Miami and managed experimental studio/exhibition spaces. His personal artwork focuses on creating historically accurate maritime paintings that reflect never before seen vantage points, and on depicting the formal abstraction of the sea gathered through personal observations. His work has been featured in art magazines, historical research literature books, and online forums.  Debuted his first solo exhibition in New York City in 2016,  Art Basel in Miami, Florida, and is currently represented by Louis K. Meisel Gallery in New York. He Lives and works in Miami, Florida, and takes commissions on a limited basis.
